Company events

JAMADAN offers drum circles as a form of company team building or as an attractive addition to your event. We have created drum orchestras and drum circles at numerous events and parties and this activity is loved by all age groups - ranging from kids to seniors.

How we do it?

We give you drums and, using our methods that have stood the test of time, we will give you the experience of drumming together and hearing the intense sounds of the drum. We are able to adjust the structure to your specific needs, but we most commonly do it like this:

• simple rhythm games and icebreakers at the beginning - familiarising ourselves with the instruments

• body percussion - hands, feet, clapping, snapping, voice, etc.
• we will teach you one simple traditional African rhythm and create a drum orchestra where everybody has their place
• we bring various kinds of drums - ranging from big drums to small percussion
• experience with music or music talent are not necessary - it's about fun and unique experience
• we will try to play a drum solo (yes, everybody can do it!)
• everybody has space and opportunity for self-expression

Company drum circle:

• entertaining and relaxing activity at events, teambuilding or a conference
• serves as a great icebreaker activity
• drumming connects and balances our brain hemispheres, helps to release endorphins and is a physical activity as well
• activities are set in a way that anybody is able to do it
• playing drums together makes participants relaxed and puts them on the same wavelength, and naturally tightens the team as a teambuilding activity

We are able to give you a tailor made offer with respect to the key idea and focus of your event. We are experienced teachers and entertainers and have been doing this activity since 2005. We speak fluent english.
